Turn priorities into credible plans and stronger funder-facing materials.
Add experienced capacity when important work requires focused attention.

Build reliable AI workflows that analyze proposals, Form 990s, budgets, websites, and meeting notes to compare organizations and identify stronger questions, with key findings verified against original sources.
Use AI to create faster, more consistent first drafts of memos, proposals, reports, board materials, and donor communications.
Use AI to reduce manual steps in meeting follow-up, CRM updates, reporting calendars, and organizing and retrieving internal information.

Nathaniel Moldoff has spent more than a decade helping funders and nonprofits make decisions, evaluate opportunities, and communicate clearly.
Before founding Tearose Strategies, Nathaniel served as Director of Research and Policy at Hoplin Jackson Charitable Advisors, advising on more than $12 million in annual charitable giving. Previously, at the Snider Foundation, he managed a multimillion-dollar portfolio of approximately 35 grantees and later supported grantmaking across all three program areas. His earlier consulting and development work gave him direct experience with nonprofit fundraising and operations.
His particular strength is translating research, financial information, and stakeholder perspectives into clear strategy and usable materials. He incorporates carefully designed AI-enabled research and workflows where they can improve speed and consistency, while keeping source verification, confidentiality, and human judgment central.
Nathaniel brings particular depth in Jewish and Israel-focused philanthropy, including Jewish communal life, Israel, antisemitism, and institutional security.
He holds an MPA in nonprofit management and an MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies from New York University, where he was a Wexner Graduate Fellow/Davidson Scholar, and a BA from Franklin & Marshall College. He also studied at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.
Every engagement is built around a clear outcome and useful deliverables, so the work begins quickly and stays focused.
